Kogarah 2015

During 2015 the group has completed over 40 quilts. Some have been donated to charities already but many of the quilts below are part of the November exhibition held at the Library each year.

The quilts are inspired by the donations of fabric we receive and either start with a block design that everyone completes or start with a medalion around which everyone adds a border. Sometimes the prints on the fabric are enough to create their own focus block for a quilt.

Funds for our expenses are raised by an in-house raffle at the end of the year. This enables us to purchase batting and have our sewing machines maintained.
