Here are some blocks we have done from 2014 to 2021 - RCQ Blocks Folder in Google Drive. Make sure you view it in Grid View rather than as a list and you will see recognisable images of each block. Once you find a quilt you like in the Quilts 20xx tabs the block should be listed in the folder for you.
2013
Linda T's Hidden Nine Patch - Instructions
For our quilt:
NinePatch block with at least 4 different fabrics cut at 5" square. (We are not strip piecing our blocks as shown in the linked instructions.)
Centre square is focus fabric supplied.
Other squares are anything that will go with the centre square. They do not have to be colours in the focus fabric. They should be cut at 5" also.
Do not trim the block to any size.
Check the centre patch is 4.5" finished then cut vertically and horizontally at 2 1/4". Play with arrangements. Return the 4 small pieces without sewing them together.
